month at 7:00 pm.

Parent Involvement
Cub Scouting is an Adult/Child program. It is not a baby sitting
service. An adult partner is expected at every meeting that the child
attends. As a result of this program and with additional help at home,
the Scouts can earn advancements and recognition. The success of the
program greatly depends on the involvement and enthusiasm of the adult
partner.
Cub Scout Advancement Plan
Many of the Pack's activities are driven by the Cub Scout Advancement
Plan. The Advancement Plan Recognition gives the boys a sense of personal
achievement as they earn badges. The Adult partner works with the
boys on their advancement projects.
-
The Bobcat rank is for all
boys who join Cub Scouting.
-
The Tiger Cub program is
for boys who are age 7 or in 1st grade. There are five Tiger Cub
achievement areas. To earn the Tiger Cub Badge, the Tiger Cub
completes 15 requirements within these areas. These requirements
involve indoor and outdoor activities.
-
The Wolf program is for boys
who are age 8 or in 2nd grade. To earn the Wolf badge, a boy must
complete twelve achievements involving simple physical and mental
skills.
-
The Bear rank is for boys
who are age 9 or in 3rd grade. There are 24 Bear achievements
divided into four categories. The Cub Scout must complete 12 of
these to earn the Bear badge. These requirements are more challenging
than those for the Wolf rank.
-
The Webelos
program is for boys who are age 10 or in 4th or 5th grade. This
program prepares the boy for the transition from Webelos to Boy
Scout. As he completes the Webelos requirements, he will become
familiar with the Boy Scout requirements, which lead to the Arrow
of Light Award.
